Diania Kraemer, MD, FAANS, FIAIME, CMLE, QME
Dr. Diana Kraemer is a board-certified neurosurgeon with over three decades of clinical, academic, and medicolegal experience. A Fellow of both the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the International Academy of Independent Medical Evaluators, she brings deep expertise and a compassionate, patient-centered approach to every evaluation.
Her current practice spans clinical consultations, second opinions, and nonoperative treatment for complex neurological conditions—including brain injury, spinal disorders, chronic pain, epilepsy, and movement disorders. She is an approved treating physician for Washington State Labor & Industries and a dedicated volunteer at Lahai Health Medical Clinic.
In the medicolegal arena, Dr. Kraemer provides independent medical evaluations, expert witness testimony, and record reviews for workers’ compensation, personal injury, and federal cases. She is a Qualified Medical Evaluator in California and serves on multiple national and state-level committees focused on report quality and clinical guidelines.
Dr. Kraemer’s career includes leadership roles in epilepsy surgery, NIH-funded research, and academic appointments at Yale University and the Swedish Epilepsy Center. Her publications span neurosurgical techniques, impairment evaluation, and epilepsy research, contributing to the AMA Guides and peer-reviewed journals.
